Elephant

The Fauteuil Elephant designed by Jean-Michel Frank was conceived in 1939 for the lobby of the Hotel Llao Llao in Buenos Aires.  A low armchair of 18th-century proportions, with simple cantilevered oak armrests and upholstery often in deerskin or a material native to the region.
